GALO Magazine Interview
April 30th, 2012I recently did an interview for NY-based GALO Magazine. The feature is quite extensive. Consider yourself warned. http://www.galomagazine.com/artculture/alex-kisilevich-the-camouflaged-man/

Thanks to Rafael Ochoa for spotting this and sending it over! Completely forgot – this piece is and/or was up at Bonhams Canada, for C Magazine’s Preview Exhibit. It’ll be going up for auction at the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art (MOCCA) on April 11th, to support C Magazine. More info here. The caliber of artists included this year is simply ridiculous. If you are interested in purchasing contemporary Canadian art by some of the bigwigs, you don’t want to miss this.
There are quite a few reasons why I typically don’t do commissioned work. However, I do make exceptions when it is for people who I admire. I admire Carnival Moon. They write beautiful songs and are just pleasant beings. If you get a chance to meet Elaine Kelly-Canning, be sure to ask her to do her impression of Liam Neeson, it will probably change your life.
Have a listen to their music here.
ps. Special thanks to Elise Victoria Louise Windsor for her wonderful assistance and a huge apology to all the tenants in my studio building for the landlord complaints regarding a sod culprit.
